C Somnus McGill

Hello! I'm new to the site so here is some biographical information for you: I'm C. Somnus McGill, a blind writer and teacher from the American Southwest living on the shores of Lake Superior. I studied creative writing, composition pedagogy, and historical geography until I somehow got an MA. I hung it in my bathroom until I thought it was growing mould and now it hangs by the front door so I can brag about it and maybe get some value from it.

I write nonfiction about disability and politics and I teach University writing and composition. While I haven't shared any of it, by choice and otherwise, I do write fiction that is usually obsessed with setting. Maybe too obsessed. I struggle to put a solid fence around my reading habits, but I am usually drawn to literature, genre fiction, and non-fiction that is angry at some injustice or ridiculousness of the world.
